Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and models for construction and engineering projects. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in CAD design, with experience in construction-related projects, ductwork knowledge, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Develop precise 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.
Create schematics and technical documentation aligned with project specifications and industry standards.
Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure design accuracy, feasibility.
Maintain organised digital files of all drawings and models for easy access and version control.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety standards, building codes, and client specifications.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CAD Designer within the construction industry
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of schematics development and technical drawing standards.
Familiarity with construction processes and terminology.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
