Job Summary

Comfort Centre Leicester is seeking a committed, reliable and community-minded Seasonal Worker to provide practical administrative and project support to the Project Manager. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, willing to learn, confident in communication and passionate about supporting a charity that serves the local community.

The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day administrative duties, help coordinate project activities, support communication with service users and partners, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the smooth running of the charity’s programmes. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure tasks are completed professionally, efficiently and in line with the charity’s values.

This role requires someone with a positive attitude, good attention to detail and the ability to work respectfully with people from different backgrounds. While previous charity or administrative experience may be helpful, Comfort Centre Leicester is particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate dedication, reliability, confidentiality, teamwork and a genuine willingness to support community-focused work.

As a Seasonal Worker, you will play an important part in helping the charity deliver its services, strengthen its project administration and maintain effective day-to-day operations. This is a valuable opportunity for someone who wants to contribute meaningfully to a local charity while developing practical administrative, communication and project support skills.

Responsibilities

Providing administrative support to the Project Manager
Helping with emails, documents, records and general office tasks
Supporting project activities and community programmes
Assisting with reports, forms and basic coordination tasks
Communicating professionally with service users, partners and team members
Maintaining confidentiality and a positive working attitude
Experience
Reliable, committed and willing to learn
Good communication skills
Ability to work respectfully with different people
Good organisation and time management
Basic computer/admin confidence
Passion for community and charity work
Ability to follow instructions and support the charity’s goals

Pay: £13.45 per hour
