Summary
We are seeking a skilled Designer/Pattern Maker to join our team at Basic Premier Limited. In this role, you will play a vital part in the design and production process, ensuring that our garments meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Create accurate patterns based using sealed blocks
- Product categories include: woven and jersey - dresses, skirts, trousers, blouses, tops and swimwear
- Collaborate with sealer grader to refine patterns and ensure they align with production requirements.
- Adjust patterns as necessary to accommodate fabric characteristics and production techniques.
- Maintain a library of patterns for future reference and modifications.
- Cut patterns out
- Liaise with the sample machinists to ensure accurate garment construction
- Attend Fit meetings with the customer and modify patterns as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Designer/Pattern Maker within the clothing manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of garment construction techniques.
- Ability to create design sketches from Inspo and patterns using technical specifications accurately.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work at pace
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
