Package Description

Peripatetic Manager - Children's Residential

Salary: Up to £60,000 (+£5,000 Welcome Bonus)

Bonus Scheme - Earn 21% of your Salary

Car Allowance - £3,000 per annum

Paid Mileage - 18p-23p per mile

Working across multiple homes, you'll provide hands-on support, lead service improvements, mentor Registered Managers and help teams overcome challenges. If you're looking to move beyond the responsibilities of a single home and develop your operational leadership experience, this could be the perfect next step.

You'll be the go-to leader for services requiring additional support, guidance or improvement, working closely with home managers to raise standards, strengthen compliance and deliver exceptional outcomes for young people

What you'll be doing:

Provide interim management support across children's residential homes
Lead services to deliver safe, high-quality care and positive outcomes for young people
Support Ofsted compliance, inspections and service improvement plans
Coach and develop Registered Managers and care teams
Drive safeguarding excellence and quality assurance standards
Oversee staffing, performance management, training and recruitment
Manage budgets and operational performance across assigned services

What you'll bring to the role:

Experienced leader within children's residential care
A Level 5 Qualification in Children & Young People
Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
Able to coach and support Registered Managers to achieve excellence
Experienced in audits, compliance and continuous improvement
Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and resources
Flexible to step into home leadership roles when required
Passionate about delivering outstanding outcomes for young people
