Job Title: Digital Media Data Assistant.
Clients: Charities and socially positive organisations including NSPCC, Carers UK, Young Minds, Dementia UK, Sue Ryder.
Duration: Permanent.
Hours: 9am – 5.30pm Mon-Fri (flexible working with core hours 10am to 4pm).
Holiday: 35 days per annum inc. bank holidays. Increasing to 38 days inc. bank holidays after 2 years.

Flexibility: Hybrid working and flexible hours.
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Location: Chesham, Buckinghamshire, HP5 1PS (on the Metropolitan Line outside London). Optional 2 days per week remote working.

We are on the lookout for a graduate with strong mathematics, data analysis, and front-end coding. This role would likely progress into a Digital Media Analyst or a Data Engineer.
The successful candidate will report into the Director of Strategy and will work with other members of the data team. You will support with data engineering and analysis, including but not restricted to: Developing dashboards, AI, automation, working with databases, and tracking.
You’ll have a passion for digital marketing, a strong understanding of data, a keen eye for detail and a hunger to make the world better.

Data engineering:
- Utilising data from a variety of tools, including Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Data Studio.
- Utilising tools such as Google BigQuery and Supermetrics to store, manage and manipulate data.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting issues within data setup.
Data tracking:
- Implementing new tracking tags and pixels.
- Supporting the teams with new tracking solutions.
Data visualisation:
- Producing Google Looker Studio reports.
- Designing clear data visualisation.
- Testing and developing new ways to display data.
Data analysis:
- Reviewing the data and making recommendations on strategy.
- Identifying new trends and opportunities.
- Spotting data irregularities which could point to a setup issue.
Developing and improving automation through:
- Google Sheets (using functions and app integration).
- Google Scripts.
- Zapier, and other tools.
- Demonstrably brilliant mathematics and data analysis skills.
- A logical, problem-solving approach.
- Passion for data, from engineering through to analysis.
- A workable understanding of JavaScript, HTML, Google Scripts and a desire to develop your skills.
- A curious mindset, together with the tenacity to see things through.
- Excellent written English and verbal communication skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to discuss technical concepts with clients.
- Experience in digital marketing (especially Google Ads and PPC) is an advantage, but not essential.
