Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team, supporting a variety of construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. Responsibilities
- Assisting with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, and lawn care
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various tasks
- Supporting excavation activities using equipment such as excavators under supervision
- Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution
- Performing general maintenance duties across sites, including cleaning and minor repairs
- Assisting with construction-related activities, including material handling and site preparation
- Supporting gardening and horticultural tasks to promote healthy plant growth
- Ensuring work areas are safe, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Practical experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance procedures
- Ability to operate or learn to operate equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems
- Physical fitness to undertake manual labour tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining work areas
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A proactive attitude towards safety practices and willingness to learn new skills
