We are looking for a Telecom Project Manager who can take ownership of telecom installation projects, service rollouts, supplier coordination, and delivery timelines. You are not just tracking tasks or updating project plans. You are making sure communication projects are delivered safely, professionally, on time, and within agreed standards.
You will work closely with engineers, field teams, suppliers, clients, and internal operations teams to keep projects moving smoothly from planning through completion.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment: Our Norwich location provides a professional workplace with access to local business services, transport links, and a growing technology network.
Project Impact: Your work will directly support telecom service delivery, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and successful project completion.
Team Culture: We value clear communication, organised planning, and practical problem solving across every stage of project delivery.
Career Growth: You will have the opportunity to strengthen your project management skills, lead technical rollouts, and grow within a communications focused organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Telecom Project Delivery: Manage telecom projects from planning and scheduling through installation, testing, handover, and completion.
Team Coordination: Work with engineers, field technicians, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project tasks are completed on time.
Project Planning: Prepare project schedules, track milestones, monitor risks, and make sure resources are available when needed.
Client Communication: Provide clear updates to clients regarding progress, timelines, service issues, and project changes.
Supplier and Contractor Management: Coordinate external providers, review delivery timelines, follow up on materials, and support smooth site operations.
Quality and Compliance: Ensure telecom installations and service work follow company standards, site requirements, health and safety procedures, and customer expectations.
Issue Resolution: Identify delays, technical issues, or resource gaps, then take practical steps to keep projects on track.
Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, status updates, completion records, and performance reports.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: Previous experience in telecoms, connectivity services, network projects, field operations, IT infrastructure, or technical project coordination.
Project Management Skills: Able to manage schedules, resources, risks, budgets, suppliers, and multiple project priorities.
Technical Understanding: Good knowledge of telecom systems, installations, connectivity services, network equipment, or field service operations.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with clients, engineers, contractors, and management teams.
Problem Solving: Able to handle pressure, resolve project issues, and make practical decisions when timelines or requirements change.
Mindset: You are organised, reliable, customer focused, and proactive. You understand that successful telecom projects depend on planning, communication, and consistent follow through.
Pay: £53,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
