Job Title: Design Supervisor
Role:
Denco Fluid Systems are actively looking for an experienced and motivated Design Supervisor to lead our Engineering Design Team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in mechanical and manufacturing design, who can combine technical expertise with effective team leadership.
You will be responsible for supervising day to day design activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality using CAD and 3D SolidWorks to produce our 3D models. Woking closely with Contracts, Production and Management Teams
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and support a team of design Engineers, to allocate and monitor project progress to meet deadlines
· Produce and review detailed engineering drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks
· Manage design revisions, engineering change requests by providing technical guidance and monitoring to team members
· Ensure all relevant statutory Health & Safety standards are maintained and controlled
· Identify opportunities to improve design processes and increase efficiency
Skills & Experience:
· Proven experience in an engineering design environment
· Advanced knowledge of 3D SolidWorks & CAD
· Ability to lead a team and have strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
· HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related /similar discipline
· Have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles
