Herts Tints & Wraps is looking for an experienced Automotive Window Tinter to join our growing team.
The role will mainly involve installing automotive window tint, so applicants must be confident completing vehicles independently and producing a clean, professional finish. Experience with PPF or vinyl wrapping would be a strong advantage.
Main Responsibilities:
- Installing automotive window tint to a professional standard
- Tinting rear windows, full vehicles and front side windows where legally permitted
- Preparing and thoroughly cleaning glass before installation
- Accurately cutting, shrinking and fitting tint film
- Removing door cards or trims where required
- Checking completed work for contamination, creases or imperfections
- Installing PPF, de-chromes, roof wraps and other vinyl work when required
- Keeping the workshop and installation area clean and organised
- Taking care of customer vehicles while they are in the workshop
- Updating management on job progress and any issues
Requirements:
- Previous professional automotive window tinting experience is essential
- Must be able to tint vehicles independently to a high standard
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident heat shrinking rear screens
- Good knowledge of vehicle trims, glass and door cards
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Able to work efficiently in a busy workshop
- PPF or vinyl wrapping experience would be an advantage
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Salary will depend on experience and ability.
