Be the Welcoming Face and Vital Heartbeat of Our Practice

Are you a compassionate "people person" who thrives on organisation and making a real difference in the local community? At Wealden Ridge Medical Partnership we are looking for a dynamic Receptionist to join our busy, friendly team across two sites, Heathfield and Newick.

You will act as a vital link between our patients and our clinical team. As the first point of contact, you will listen to patient needs, help "care navigate" them to the most appropriate healthcare service (such as pharmacist, care co-ordinator, first contact physiotherapist, nurse, or GP), and manage our appointment systems. You will also process prescriptions and maintain accurate, confidential patient records.

We are looking for:

· Excellent Communication: A warm, clear, and polite telephone manner with the ability to handle delicate situations with empathy and patience.

· Calm Under Pressure: Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.

· Tech-Savvy: Strong IT skills and/or a quick learner (experience with clinical systems like EMIS or SystemOne is a bonus).

· Discretion: A strict understanding of patient confidentiality and GDPR.

· Salary: £13.00 per hour

· Hours: To be discussed – set shift patterns

· Benefits: Contributory NHS Pension scheme, parking on site and company events.
