Full job description

Job Title: Management Accountant (6 weeks FTC)

Employer: Lewes FC

Hours & Availability: 5 days

Salary: £40,000

Reports to: CFO

Reports: None

Key relationships: Facilities Manager, Commercial Manager, Fan & Community Engagement Manager, Board of Directors, External Partners.

Location: The Dripping Pan, Lewes, Mountfield Road with WFH flexibility

Who we are looking for

Someone who can pick up things fast
Can do monthly reconciliations leading to year end reconciliations
Supporting the preparation of audited accounts

What does success look like?

Supporting Lewes FC in being a financially prudent and progressive club
The football club have a tier 3 Women’s team and a tier 7 Men’s team. Providing accurate information off the pitch will help with the preparation and performance on it
Year End reporting runs efficiently and smoothly
Deadlines are met in a timely manner
Maintain close relationships with our partners and suppliers

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Analytical thinking skills and strong numerical skills are essential.
Ability to communicate with various stakeholders and knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Experience of using Xero is essential
Good Communication skills and a positive working attitude
Solutions-oriented and quick thinker
Open to travel and working weekends and week-nights
Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounts
Capable of working effectively within strict deadlines and a fast-paced environment;
