Summary

Sherwood Primary School is a two form entry Primary School in the heart of Fulwood. We operate a thriving before and after school facility that provides high quality wrap around care for our families. We are looking to appoint an additional playworker to work alongside our BASE Manager and team of playworkers to deliver high quality play opportunities for our children.

The successful applicant will be expected to work with our children after School Monday - Friday 3.30-6pm. The role is for 12.5 hours per week. We are well equipped for activities indoors with a great outdoor space that is accessible in all weathers. The club offers a range of play and craft activities each day and we are well resourced to provide these. If you have a strength or interest, please outline this in your application.

We are looking for a positive role model for children who will lead by example and form positive relationships within a team. We are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity to join our hard working team and to contribute towards our vision for all children. We are a fantastic Primary School and have high expectations of our children's behaviour and academic achievement. We provide Sherwood children with a vibrant play environment and work closely with our families to support children's social and emotional needs.

Desirable Qualifications

Teaching assistant, play worker or childcare qualifications.
No formal qualifications are required but the post holder must be literate.
