Full job description

Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a well-established and growing law firm on a permanent, full-time basis in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident conveyancing professional to join a supportive and busy property team handling a varied caseload of residential matters.

The successful candidate will manage their own high volume conveyancing caseload independently while delivering a high standard of client care within a fast-paced and professional environment. The firm offer 26 days holidays plus bank holidays, company pension scheme and free local parking.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion, including:

Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
New build transactions
Remortgages
Transfers of equity
Shared ownership matters
Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and third parties
Managing files efficiently in line with compliance and billing targets
Delivering excellent client service throughout the transaction process

This is an excellent opportunity for a conveyancer who enjoys managing their own files autonomously while working within a collaborative and supportive team.

The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers, Legal Executives or experienced non-qualified Conveyancers with a minimum of 3 years’ residential conveyancing experience.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

The ability to independently manage a residential conveyancing caseload
Experience handling freehold, leasehold, new build and remortgage matters
Excellent client care and communication skills
A proactive and organised approach to workload management
Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
The ability to work effectively within a busy team environment
