Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team! A drivers license would be required for this role, we are looking for someone who is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be reliable, and committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience to contribute to a professional setting.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages promptly.
Follow designated cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard.
Use specialised cleaning chemicals safely in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning activities.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and thoroughly.
Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of safe chemical handling procedures and cleaning techniques.
Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality.
