Job Title: Event and Hospitality Assistants (Bank)
Location: The Showroom, Tritton Road, Lincoln
Responsible to: Event and Hospitality Manager
Salary: £12.86 per hour
Hours per week: Bank - 0 Hours Contract (including evenings and weekends)
We are looking for Bank Events and Hospitality Assistants to help deliver exceptional events and hospitality experiences for our guests, customers, and community. You will provide friendly and professional customer service, support the smooth running of events, and contribute to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment across YMCA Lincolnshire's venues and activities.
Job Purpose
To assist the Café Supervisor and Bookings Co-ordinator with the running of the Conference Centre within The Showroom. To provide high levels of customer service at all times, prepare and serve refreshments in the café area and to assist with room set up and breakdowns in accordance with the customers’ requirements.
- Meeting and greeting clients; providing excellent customer service, at all times.
- Assist & organise in room set up for bookings in accordance with customer requirements.
- Taking orders, cash handling and cashing up daily takings when required.
- Prepare and serve barista style refreshments for the café area and also for hospitality events as and when required.
- Dealing with face-to-face customer enquiries.
- To help ensure compliance with health and safety, licensing laws and other legal regulations
- To carry out other duties within the scope of the post, as directed by the Hospitality and Events Manager.
