Job description
About the Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Awards Coordinator & Administrator to provide dedicated coordination and administrative support for Lincolnshire Police’s awards and recognition programme, while also delivering high-quality administrative assistance to Chief Officers within the Executive Team.
This is a varied and rewarding role that combines event coordination, stakeholder engagement, and executive support. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring award ceremonies are professionally delivered while supporting senior leaders in their day-to-day activities.
What You’ll Be Doing
Coordinating all aspects of the Force’s awards and recognition programme, from nominations through to ceremony delivery.
Organising venues, invitations, attendance management, seating plans, programmes, certificates, and event materials.
Maintaining accurate records of awards, recipients, and supporting documentation.
Proofreading and preparing citations, certificates, and other professional communications.
Providing on-the-day support at award ceremonies, including assisting officers, guests, and VIP visitors.
Supporting Chief Officers with diary management, meeting coordination, and document preparation.
Drafting and managing correspondence, emails, and internal communications.
Preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and tracking actions arising from meetings.
Maintaining confidential records, files, and databases in accordance with organisational policies.
