Your role in our mission
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work on an As & When basis with our multidisciplinary team in in Lincolnshire. You will be a key member of the team, providing holistic, person-centred end-of-life care to people in their homes. Your responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating high-quality nursing care for people living with a terminal illness and those important to them. We are looking for compassionate professionals committed to providing comprehensive support to individuals and their loved ones during the most critical times of their lives.
As a Registered Nurse, you will research and network across the system to understand the wide range of services available to patients and those important to them and work with other providers, supporting the wider system to improve the experience of dying, death, and bereavement. The role involves direct patient care, ensuring dignity, respect, and compassion are at the heart of everything you do.
You will work within relevant legal, ethical, capability and clinical frameworks, the Nursing and Midwifery Council Code and in accordance with Marie Curie policy and procedure.
Contract Type: As & when
Job Shifts: Night shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM, Monday to Sunday, including Bank Holidays
Salary: Marie Curie Pay Scale Band 5, aligned with Agenda for Change, £16.40 to £19.96 per hour. Enhanced rates apply for weekend and bank holiday shifts, with uplifts of up to 30% for Saturdays and up to 60% for Sundays and bank holidays.
Location: Community-based in Lincolnshire covering Boston, Grantham and Lincoln
What we are looking for:

Registered Nurse on NMC Register with a relevant qualification and experience.

Proven expertise and experience in palliative and end-of-life care within a community setting.

A holistic and person-centred approach to nursing practice.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively and effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.

A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to those at the end of life.

Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driving license and business insurance. You must be able to travel to the Lincoln, Boston and Grantham bases as required.
