Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Administrator to join our small, committed team at The Shores Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC). Our mission is to provide high-quality care, support, and forensic medical services to individuals who have recently experienced rape or sexual assault.

About The Shores (SARC):
Based in Lincolnshire, the SARC operates 24/7, 365 days a year, with a team of on-call crisis workers and sexual offence examiners. We are passionate about delivering exceptional support to those who need it most.

Hours 1 : 15 hours per week, 9am-5pm covering 2 days.

Hours 2 : 22.5 hours per week, 9am – 5pm covering 3 days.

Duties

Manage and maintain confidential case files using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the SARC Quality Manager and the wider team.

Coordinate appointments, meetings, and correspondence via Microsoft Outlook.

Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation related to case management and programme activities.

Support the organisation’s administrative functions by organising schedules, tracking deadlines, and managing incoming enquiries.

Assist with data entry and record keeping ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations.

Utilise IT skills to troubleshoot basic technical issues and optimise workflow efficiency.

We are looking for someone with:

A solid understanding of company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.

Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Competence in assessing and documenting safeguarding concerns, completing risk assessments, and liaising with police officers, Sexual Offence Examiners, and the SARC team.

Experience working with vulnerable individuals.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

A full driving license and access to a vehicle.

A commitment to undergoing enhanced DBS checks and NPPV Level 3 vetting.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

Recent NHS experience.

Previous work with victims of sexual assault.

Relevant qualifications in supporting victims of sexual or physical abuse.

Forensic awareness.
