Full job description

Pierrepont Estates Management are recruiting for a Property Manager on a 12 month FTC. (Maternity Cover).

Property Management

Manage the day-to-day operation of the Estate's residential and commercial property portfolio.
Act as the main point of contact for tenants, contractors, and prospective tenants.
Arrange property viewings and conduct tenant sign-ups.
Prepare tenancy documentation, handle deposit protection and maintain accurate property records.
Coordinate property inspections and ensure compliance requirements are met.
Manage maintenance requests and liaise with contractors to ensure work orders are completed in timely manner.
Ensure compliance with current landlord and tenant legislation.

Holiday Let Management

Oversee the booking and administration of the Estate's holiday let properties.
Coordinate guest communications before, during, and after their stay.
Manage booking systems and calendars to maximise occupancy.
Organise changeovers and liaise with the housekeeping team to ensure properties are presented to a high standard.
Coordinate maintenance and resolve issues promptly to minimise disruption to guests.
Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements where required.
Manage the marketing and promotion of the holiday let accommodation.

General Estate Administration

Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
Prepare correspondence, reports, and property-related documentation.
Support the wider Estate team with administrative and operational tasks.
Handle enquiries professionally and provide excellent customer service to tenants, guests, and visitors.

Other responsibilities

You will be required to be on call for property and holiday let issues over weekends/holidays on a rota basis

Essential:

Previous experience in property management, lettings, or a related property role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants, contractors, holiday guests, and colleagues.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property management software - KeyPrime Property and Accounts software
Knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation and relevant health and safety requirements, as well as current residential lettings legislation, including deposit protection, right-to-rent checks, EPC requirements, and evolving regulatory changes.
Ability to work independently and use initiative.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Desirable

Experience managing holiday let accommodation properties.
Knowledge of holiday let booking platforms and experience handling guest reviews, complaints, and customer service enquiries.
Understanding of social media and online marketing for holiday accommodation as well as previous experience using Canva.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
