Salary: £32,916-£45,351 per annum (depending on experience, role and/or qualifications)
About the role
At Heart of Supply, we are seeking an inspiring Science Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Lincoln. We welcome applications from talented Biology, Chemistry and Physics teachers who are passionate about fostering curiosity, critical thinking and a love of Science in young people.
This is a long-term opportunity, ideal for a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a lasting impact within a school community. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparation and assessment, delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, while supporting pupils to achieve their full potential from September 2026.
The school is seeking an enthusiastic practitioner with strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering curiosity and a love of learning. What you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent experience teaching within a UK secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge in Science, with the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- A proven ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, supported by effective behaviour management strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
- A flexible, proactive and professional approach, with a genuine passion for Science and student achievement.
- A minimum of 6 weeks' teaching experience within a UK secondary school, including placements.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
