Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across a variety of commercial and residential properties. This role requires a proactive approach, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in diverse environments. The position offers an opportunity to develop technical expertise within a dynamic organisation committed to quality service.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and heating systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry skills to complete tasks efficiently.
Conduct system inspections to identify faults or potential issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Assist with the assembly of plumbing fixtures and heating units as required.
Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely to ensure smooth project progression.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used for each job.
Ensure all work sites are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver high-quality service within scheduled timeframes.

Experience

Proven experience in plumbing, heating systems, or related mechanical trades.
Skilled handling hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques.
Knowledge of mechanical systems, basic maths for measurements and calculations, and carpentry skills.
Experience with heavy lifting tasks and commercial driving is advantageous but not essential.
Familiarity with system diagnostics and troubleshooting is preferred.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments while maintaining high safety standards.
