THE POST – REQ000586 - International Recruitment and Conversion Coordinator
The University of West of Scotland have an exciting opportunity for an experienced International Recruitment and Conversion Coordinator to join the International Student Recruitment team on a fixed term basis of 22 months.
The post-holder will work as part of a team whose core responsibility is to support the achievement of the international student enrolment targets of the University’s Strategy2030. Specifically, this involves the recruitment, conversion and admission of suitably qualified international leads and applicants from a range of countries to the University for full-time, fee-paying study at UWS campuses.
The successful applicant will ensure the provision an efficient and effective customer-focused pre-enrolment journey from enquiry to arrival on-campus.
This role will have an agreed core geographic remit, with particular focus on South Asia. The post will involve considerable contact with academic colleagues, Professional Services colleagues particularly in Marketing and Admissions, prospective students, education agents and institutional partners.
The successful candidate should have the following:
HND/SVQ level 4 or equivalent, or equivalent relevant and practical work experience.
- Considerable experience of administration within a busy and fast-paced environment
- Ability to deal constructively with conflicting/competing priorities
- A working knowledge of identifying and implementing appropriate solutions to problems
- A previous history of contributing to developing and implementing efficient and effective business processes using own initiative
- Experience of working in Higher Education
- Experience of recruitment, conversion and/or admissions procedures
- Experience of working in an international environment
