Project Manager - Major Healthcare Project
Location: West Yorkshire
Deliver a landmark healthcare project.
GRAHAM are to be appointed as Contracting Partner for the regeneration of a major general hospital site, forming a flagship scheme within the UK’s New Hospital Programme.
This major programme will deliver a modern, digitally enabled healthcare facility (circa 82,000m² of new build plus refurbishment), representing a step change in the way healthcare estates are designed and constructed.
We are now seeking experienced Project Managers to play a key role in the successful delivery of this high-profile project.
The Role
As part of the core delivery team, you will support the leadership and successful execution of the programme, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with senior leadership, clients, and stakeholders, you will contribute to the delivery of a complex, high-value healthcare development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage elements of the project lifecycle from inception through to completion
- Develop and implement project plans, programmes, and resource strategies
- Monitor progress against programme, cost, and quality targets
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring proactive issue resolution
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, consultants, and supply chain partners
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Support, motivate, and develop project delivery teams
- Maintain strong commercial control and cost management
- Represent GRAHAM professionally across all project interactions
About You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within construction
- Experience delivering large-scale or complex building projects within Healthcare
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, planning, and delivery
- Commercially aware with effective cost and programme management skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to manage competing priorities
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
