About the Role:

We are looking for a Dental Practice Coordinator (m/f/d) who will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our dental practice. You will work closely with dentists, dental nurses, reception staff and patients to ensure appointments, patient records and administrative processes are managed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

Practice Coordination:

Coordinate the day-to-day administrative operations of the dental practice, ensuring appointments, patient enquiries and clinical schedules run smoothly.

Patient Services:

Welcome patients professionally, assist with appointment scheduling, explain practice procedures and ensure every patient receives excellent customer service throughout their visit.

Appointment Management:

Manage clinician diaries, coordinate treatment appointments, process cancellations and rescheduling requests, and optimise appointment availability.

Patient Records:

Maintain accurate electronic patient records, process documentation and ensure confidential information is handled in accordance with data protection policies.

Administrative Support:

Prepare correspondence, process referrals, manage incoming communications and assist with practice documentation and reporting.

Financial Administration:

Support treatment plan administration, prepare invoices, process payments and assist patients with billing enquiries.

Compliance Support:

Assist with maintaining regulatory documentation, health and safety records, infection prevention procedures and general practice compliance requirements.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with dentists, hygienists, dental nurses and reception colleagues to ensure efficient communication and high-quality patient care.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in dental administration, healthcare coordination, medical reception or a similar administrative role within a clinical environment.

Industry Knowledge:

Experience working within a dental practice is preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology, patient scheduling and practice management software would be advantageous.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with patients and colleagues while maintaining professionalism.

Organisation:

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

Technical Skills:

Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, email systems and digital patient management software. Experience with dental practice management systems is desirable.

Pay: £2,758.00-£3,000.00 per month
