CHEFS, fancy Cornwall without the live-service rush?

Prep Chef de Partie | Rock, Cornwall
£38,000–£40,000 per annum + tips
Subsidised accommodation available
9am–7pm | Non-Service Role

Prime Workforce is recruiting an experienced Prep Chef de Partie for an exceptional coastal hospitality operation in Rock, Cornwall, part of the renowned Ainsworth Collection, from the team behind Michelin-starred Paul Ainsworth at No6.

This isn’t your typical CDP position.

You’ll be based in the dedicated prep kitchen, working on the restaurant’s Indian Ocean-inspired menu, preparing and cooking dishes ahead of service rather than working the live lunch and dinner pass.

The opportunity

You’ll be:

Preparing and cooking dishes for the Indian Ocean-inspired menu
Working with bold flavours, quality ingredients and established recipes
Taking ownership of prep to ensure consistency and quality
Supporting a busy operation serving around 60 lunch and 100 dinner covers
Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards
Working alongside an experienced and professional kitchen brigade

The big difference?

This is a NON-SERVICE role. Your focus is prep and cooking rather than working through live restaurant service.

Hours & Package

9:00am–7:00pm
30-minute break
48-hour contracted week
Opportunity for additional hours, potentially up to around 55 hours
£38,000–£40,000 per annum + tips
Permanent, full-time position

Relocating to Cornwall?

Subsidised team accommodation is available from approximately £360–£412 per month, including all bills, making this a particularly attractive opportunity for chefs looking to relocate.

Who are we looking for?

We’d love to speak with chefs who have:

Chef de Partie or Prep Chef experience
Excellent preparation and cooking skills
Experience with Indian cuisine or Indian-inspired flavours would be highly advantageous
Experience within a quality, high-volume kitchen
Strong organisation and attention to detail
A genuine focus on consistency and food quality
