We currently have an opportunity for someone to join the team in our Cornwall Depot as a Night Warehouse Supervisor
Main Purpose
To ensure the operational and service requirements of the site are met consistently and within budget. To manage the performance of the Nightshift team ensuring tasks are completed to the standards required. This is a hand’s on role and requires a significant amount of team interaction in a fast moving and time critical operation.
To work closely with the rest of the night management team to deliver accurate results.
Responsibilities to include:
· Plan the shift to ensure the necessary resources are in place to administer the allocated volumes across all departments
· Manage the warehouse employees to accurately complete all orders on time and to ensure all vehicles are accurately loaded
· To monitor staff under your control to ensure maximum productivity and to instil accountability into them
· Ensure any purchased stock arriving during the shift is receipted, vehicle temperature checked and quality is checked, any queries are to be referred to the Trading team
· Ensure all stock is picked in date rotation
· Provision of excellent and professional customer service, dealing with complaints as and when raised
· Ensure an efficient and effective handover is provided to the warehouse day shift and the transport team and that the warehouse has been kept clean and ready for the handover
· Manage process and material flows, space management, and working with the Management team to maximize utilisation of space designated for specific operations
· Manage all KPI’s, including but not restricted to performance, customer complaints, order fulfilment
· Meet Health and Safety, Food Safety, Quality and BRC Audit standards as set out in the Company Policy Manual
· Undertake any training as deemed necessary, e.g. Manual Handling, Food Hygiene, Management training and to ensure the nightshift employees are appropriately trained to enable them to fulfil their roles
· The accurate completion of all required paperwork
· To oversee the rotas produced by your supervisors, dealing with holidays, sickness and unauthorised absence
· Gain a clear understanding of the admin teams roles and requirements, ensuring accurate and timely communication from receipt of order to dispatch.

· Any other reasonable duties as required.

Hours: 7.30pm – Until Finish around 4AM (30 Minute Unpaid Break) - must be flexible to work longer through the summer months with time made up during the winter months.

Annual Salary £40,000 with an annual performance related bonus after a full years service.
