CNC Turner Operator / programmer / Gear Cutter (Fanuc / Gleason)

Based at our modern factory in Chesterfield, the successful applicant will work within our factory. If you are looking for a stable role with a well-established company then this maybe the role for you, working Monday to Friday.
THE CANDIDATE:
CNC Turner Operator / Programmer / Gear cutter (Fanuc / Gleason)
Looking for an experienced CNC Turner & Programmer / Gear Cutter to join us.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Setting up, programming and operating machine tools with Fanuc Controls.
- Able to machine and measure to tight tolerances.
- Experienced in all aspects of CNC programming machining, selecting and setting tools utilizing correct cutting speeds and feeds relative to application.
- Safety and cleanliness.
- Forward planning for next jobs on machines ensures parts/paperwork are ready.
- Identify and implement solutions to problems.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experienced operating and programming CNC lathes with Fanuc programming or/and CNC Milling with Siemens programming
- Gleason controls would be advantageous although onsite training can/will be given.
- Machines include Nakamura's, Doosan, Colchester's & Dugard.
- Milling / Siemens experience could also be advantageous but not essential
Working hours: Regular days Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pmThis is a Full time, Permanent position. They will be flexible, dynamic with high attention to detail and ability to work alone and also a good team player.
