Full job description

We are looking to recruit a new Assistant Manager to support and oversee our warm and friendly team at The Crown Inn, East Rudham.

We are looking for a candidate who is flexible, enthusiastic and hard working. Past experience within the hospitality industry is essential - you will be managing a team to maintain a healthy wage GP, alongside:

-Liaising with the head chef regarding menus, kitchen rotas and function bookings to maintain high standards.

- Manage the operational needs of the establishment.

- Completing orders and overseeing stock levels to maintain profitable GP.

- Leading and supervising staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

- Overseeing all daily operations, including restaurant, kitchen, front office and housekeeping. Collaborating with all departments to ensure seamless operations across the business.

- Maintaining existing and developing new customer relationships, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.

We are a kind, supportive, friendly and fun team with a real focus on enjoying your work and developing new skills.

Pay is negotiable dependent upon experience. Our team enjoy staff discount on food and drinks, a pro rata share of tips, food on shift.
