Full job description

Driver & Event Assistant | Your Baristas £14.85 per hour | Zero Hours Contract | Wirral-based

Your Baristas is a specialist coffee events company, delivering premium barista-led experiences for brand activations, exhibitions, corporate events and press days across the UK. We work with some brilliant clients, from global brands to independent agencies, and we take real pride in the quality of our coffee, the look of our setups, and the service we deliver on the day.

We're looking for a reliable, positive and hard-working individual to join our team on a zero hours basis as a Driver & Event Assistant. This is a hands-on, varied role that keeps our events running smoothly; from loading the van at our Wirral base to setting up on site and everything in between.

What the role involves

You'll be responsible for transporting our equipment and stock safely and efficiently to event locations across the UK, including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Liverpool and beyond. On site, you'll assist with setting up and packing down our coffee bars, working alongside our barista team to ensure everything looks and runs exactly as it should. You'll also be responsible for keeping the van clean, roadworthy and well-maintained.

Day to day you can expect to: load and unload equipment safely, carry out routine vehicle checks, navigate to locations using GPS, communicate clearly with the team, and represent Your Baristas professionally at all times.

Overnight stays will be required for some jobs. Travel and accommodation will always be covered.

No two days are the same, and that's what makes it a great role.

What we need from you

Must be 25 years of age or over (insurance requirement) with a valid UK driving licence and a clean driving record
Minimum 3 years driving experience, including long wheelbase vans
Comfortable with regular travel and occasional overnight stays across the UK
Available to work weekends and flexible hours including early mornings and late evenings where required
Strong time management and the ability to work independently
Physically capable of loading and unloading equipment
A positive, can-do attitude and a presentable, professional appearance
Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Access to a reliable mobile phone and email

Desirable but not essential

Experience working with or around coffee machines
Basic plumbing knowledge
Experience driving in central London and other major UK cities
