PPC Manager (Google Ads) – Lead Pronto
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Overview
Lead Pronto is a fast-growing, award-winning lead generation company based on the Wirral. As we continue scaling across 14+ sectors, we’re hiring a PPC Specialist (Google Ads) to take ownership of performance across our growing portfolio of high-volume lead generation campaigns.
This is not an entry-level role.
We’re looking for someone with 1–3 years of hands-on Google Ads experience, ideally in lead generation or performance marketing, who already understands how to drive and optimise campaigns — and now wants to operate at scale.
You’ll be working directly inside real, high-budget accounts, alongside experienced PPC specialists, data teams, and our Head of PPC.
What You’ll Be Working On
You’ll manage and optimise live campaigns across:
- Search, Shopping, Performance Max & Demand Gen
- Multi-sector lead generation accounts (14+ industries)
- High-volume campaigns for brands including EDF Energy, OVO Energy, Anglian Group, National Accident Helpline, and 100+ other clients
This is a performance-first environment — every decision ties back to CPL, ROI, and lead quality.
You’ll also work inside our internal system, Prontify, giving you real-time access to:
- CPL performance by campaign & sector
- Channel and keyword-level insights
- Live client feedback loops (for rapid optimisation decisions)
- ROI-based performance dashboards
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing day-to-day performance of Google Ads accounts
- Building and optimising campaigns across Search, Shopping, PMax & Demand Gen
- Ensuring CPL and lead quality targets are consistently met
- Identifying wasted spend and scaling profitable segments
- Working with real-time data to make fast optimisation decisions
- Running structured testing across ads, audiences, and campaign types
- Collaborating with production, design, and account management teams
- Contributing to cross-sector growth strategies and campaign expansion
You’ll be expected to own performance — not just report on it.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years Google Ads experience (essential)
- Strong background in lead generation / performance marketing (preferred)
- Confident managing multiple accounts or campaigns simultaneously
- Comfortable working with data, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Experience with reporting, optimisation, and performance analysis
- Strong understanding of CPL, conversion tracking, and lead quality
- Ability to make data-driven decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
You don’t need to be senior - but you do need to already understand how Google Ads actually performs in real accounts, not just theory.
What You’ll Learn & Progress Into
This role is designed to accelerate you into a Senior PPC Specialist / Lead Gen Strategist.
You’ll gain exposure to:
- Large-scale multi-sector lead generation systems
- Advanced optimisation frameworks used across high-spend accounts
- Real-time feedback loops between leads, sales, and ad platforms
- Budget allocation strategies across acquisition vs performance segments
- Internal tools and automation systems (Prontify)
You’ll be working closely with senior PPC leadership and a large production team, giving you exposure to how high-volume lead generation systems are actually built and scaled.
