Parcelforce Collection & Delivery Driver

Location: Units 1–6 Link North, Ellis Ashton Street, Huyton Industrial Estate, Liverpool, L36 6BP

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Working Pattern: Wednesday to Friday 08:00 – 18:00, Saturday 07:00 17:00

What you’ll earn:

Starting salary - £25,201 per year (£12.71 per hour)

Additional allowances

Monthly non-pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)

Weekend premium payments (applied to contracted hours)

Saturday premium: +£4.39 per hour

Day-to-day of the role:

Conduct daily vehicle safety and compliance checks.
Collect and deliver parcels to residential and business customers.
Provide a professional, friendly, and dependable service.
Sort and organise parcels before your delivery route.
Follow planned routes using a handheld PDA device.
Safely lift, move, and deliver parcels weighing up to 30kg .

Required Skills & Qualifications:

A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
Previous experience or confidence driving long-wheelbase vans.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
The ability to safely lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.

Candidates who successfully complete training and meet performance expectations may be offered a permanent position, subject to business requirements.
