We are looking for a Financial Planning Analyst to join our Liverpool team and take ownership of financial forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and business performance analysis. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Forecasting:
Prepare financial forecasts, annual budgets, and rolling projections to support business planning activities.

Financial Analysis:
Analyse revenue, costs, profitability, and operational performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Reporting & Insights:
Create management reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate financial performance clearly.

Variance Analysis:
Review actual results against budgets and forecasts, investigate differences, and provide recommendations.

Financial Modelling:
Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data accuracy, and financial planning procedures.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work with finance, operations, and business teams to gather information and provide valuable financial guidance.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience:
Experience in financial analysis, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, or a related finance role.

Technical Skills:
Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling, formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

Financial Knowledge:
Good understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, budgeting processes, and performance reporting.

Analytical Ability:
You can interpret complex financial information, identify patterns, and communicate recommendations clearly.

Attention to Detail:
You are organised, accurate, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:
A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is preferred. Progress toward professional qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA is desirable.

Mindset:
You are commercially aware, curious, and enjoy turning financial information into practical business solutions.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
