About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, maintaining financial records, and supporting the wider accounts function. Key Responsibilities:
\u25cf Process high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
\u25cf Match, batch, and code invoices in line with company procedures
\u25cf Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
\u25cf Respond to supplier queries in a professional and timely manner
\u25cf Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records
\u25cf Assist with month-end closing tasks
\u25cf Support audits by providing required documentation
Requirements:
\u25cf Previous experience in an accounts payable or finance role preferred
\u25cf Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
\u25cf Good organisational and time management skills
\u25cf Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
\u25cf Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
\u25cf Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills:
\u25cf AAT qualification (or working towards)
\u25cf Experience with ERP systems (e.g.Xero)
\u25cf Understanding of financial regulations and procedures
