Full job description

The Catering Department at Gwynedd Hospital provide meals, snacks and beverages to patients, staff and visitors.

The Catering Supervisor is a key member of the team and has responsibility for carrying a range of duties related to food production and service in a busy kitchen and retail environment.

The Catering Supervisor will be working closely with Catering Co-ordinator and managers to ensure that Catering services meet relevant nutritional and dietary requirements arising from clinical, religious and cultural needs.

The Catering Supervisor responsibilities will include:

Ensuring a clean safe environment is maintained

The Catering Supervisor needs to have good teamwork, leadership, communication and organisational skills. They need to be self-motivated, be able to work unsupervised, have a flexible approach to shift alterations and have a friendly and professional approach.

Working hours between 06:00 am to 21:00 pm, enhanced pay at weekends Saturday and Sunday

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
