Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and high-quality Indian dishes
Oversee all aspects of food preparation, from ingredient selection to final presentation, maintaining authentic flavors
Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, food safety compliance, and cleanliness standards
Develop and refine recipes to enhance menu offerings while respecting traditional techniques
Train team members in cooking methods, food safety procedures, and customer service standards
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely serving of dishes and excellent guest satisfaction
Monitor food costs and waste management to optimize kitchen efficiency and profitability

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a focus on Indian cuisine
Strong culinary experience with expertise in traditional Indian cooking techniques and ingredients
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse kitchen staff
Deep knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within a restaurant setting
Experience in food production, preparation, and presentation that meets high-quality standards
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Hospitality background with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service and serving excellence

Pay: £12.71 per hour
