At 2let2 Cardiff Letting Agents, we specialise in residential lettings and property management across Cardiff. Managing a substantial portfolio of apartments, flats and houses, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service to both landlords and tenants.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and professional Lettings Negotiator to join our busy office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
The Role
As a Lettings Negotiator, you will be responsible for guiding applicants through the rental process from their initial enquiry through to move-in. You'll play a key role in maximising property occupancy while delivering an outstanding experience for landlords and tenants alike.
This role combines sales, customer service and administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and working towards targets.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:30am – 5:30pm
- Alternate Saturdays: 11:00am – 2:00pm
- Overtime available during peak periods
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct property viewings and convert enquiries into successful tenancies.
- Build relationships with prospective tenants and understand their property requirements.
- Respond to telephone, email and online enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Book and manage property viewings.
- Qualify applicants and match them with suitable properties.
- Process tenancy applications and prepare move-in documentation.
- Verify guarantors and complete referencing checks.
- Prepare welcome packs and tenancy paperwork.
- Upload and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Coordinate maintenance issues with landlords and contractors.
- Arrange property inspections, inventories and check-outs.
- Assist with move-ins, move-outs and key handovers.
- Carry out courtesy calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support tenancy renewals and end-of-tenancy administration.
- Assist with deposit administration and tenancy progression.
- Monitor shared inboxes and respond promptly to customer enquiries.
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants, landlords and contractors.
- Support the wider team with general office administration.

About You
We're looking for someone who is confident, organised and motivated with a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum one year's experience in lettings, estate agency, sales, administration or customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using computers and learning new software systems.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Professional, reliable and well presented.
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent).
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred but not essential.
