We are now looking to expand our team with the recruitment of an experienced Business Development & Marketing Manager.
The role will be based in our Llanelli office and will be responsible for driving growth by developing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships and building a strong brand portfolio, tracking campaigns and managing internal and external communications.
The ideal candidate will have a Business Degree, CIM (desirable), strong commercial awareness and proven experience within a similar role. The ability to deliver targeted marketing strategies, plan and deliver networking events and drive internal targets are essential for this role.
This role is full time Monday to Friday with a salary of £30,000-£35,000 (dependant on experience). Some weekend and evening work may be required to attend events.

Role
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth across the firm by developing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships and supporting partners with fee earners through marketing, pitching and strategic initiatives.
The role will manage the brand portfolio, track performance of advertising campaigns, define internal and external communication and manage the marketing budget.
This role requires strong commercial awareness of the legal sector, excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business strategies into practical actions.
Responsibilities
To work with the Partners to create, implement and refine the firms Business Development and Marketing strategy.
To identify new markets, client segments and opportunities for growth and provide insights into competitive trends, industry developments and client needs.
To build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, supporting the Partners in client retention, cross-selling and key account management.
To develop targeted marketing campaigns to generate leads and enhance visibility, managing press relations, interviews, filming and launches.
To manage the business digital presence including website, SEO, social media and online content.
To plan and deliver client seminars, webinars, networking events and sponsorship activities.
To ensure that fee earners are recording their time effectively and they are on target for fees, liaising with the accounts team on monthly figures.
To represent DPA Law as required at industry events, business forums and professional networking groups.
Supporting Duties
To develop business development and marketing skills across the business through training and coaching.
To coordinate practice area campaigns and ensure consistency with the overall strategy.
To maintain accurate client data, monitoring and reporting on business development activity and return on investment of campaigns.
To work safely and to undertake training and other health and safety measures relevant to the role.
To perform other duties which are not included above, but which are consistent with the post.
Personal Specification
Qualifications
· Good standard of general education including GCSE’s or equivalent in Maths and English.
· Degree in Business, Marketing, Law or related field preferred.
· Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification or similar.
· Clean Drivers Licence and use of a car.
Experience
· Experience in business development, marketing or client relationship management.
· Background in the legal sector or professional services environment.
· Proficiency with CRM systems, digital marketing tools and Microsoft office.
· Experience of development of tenders, pitches and high-quality proposals.
· Knowledge of legal market trends and professional services marketing.
· Experience in the management of events and business networking activities.
Skills and Abilities
· Strong communication, writing and presentation skills.
· Strong commercial awareness and ability to understand legal services.
· Ability to build rapport internally and externally.
· Strong project management, organisational and multi-tasking skills.
· Ability to analyse data, track performance metrics and report on outcomes.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
