Full job description

Job Summary - PART TIME

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Part Time Credit Controller to join our finance team. In this vital role, you will support the day-to-day financial operations by managing accounts payable, data entry, and maintaining accurate financial records. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth financial processes, contribute to timely reporting, and uphold the integrity of our accounting systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your accounting skills within a fast-paced, collaborative environment dedicated to excellence.

Responsibilities

Process and verify invoices using accounting software such as Xero accuracy and timeliness.
Manage accounts payable functions by preparing payments, reconciling statements, and resolving discrepancies efficiently.
Perform detailed data entry tasks related to financial transactions, ensuring all records are complete and compliant with company policies.
Support month-end closing activities by assisting with account reconciliations and financial reporting preparations.
Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents for audit readiness.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues or discrepancies promptly.

Experience

Proven experience working with accounting software Xero.
Familiarity with accounts payable processes and invoice management.
Chasing Aged payables.
Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of financial services industry practices is a plus.
