About the role
We're looking for an experienced and passionate Kitchen Lead to oversee our kitchen operations and ensure the people we support enjoy nutritious, high-quality meals every day.
You'll lead and inspire a small kitchen team, manage stock and budgets, maintain excellent food safety standards, and work closely with care teams to meet individual dietary and nutritional needs.
What you'll do
- Lead, motivate and support kitchen colleagues.
- Prepare and oversee the delivery of high-quality meals.
- Plan menus that meet dietary, nutritional and cultural requirements.
- Manage stock, ordering and kitchen budgets.
- Ensure food hygiene, health and safety standards are always maintained.
- Create a positive dining experience for the people we support.
- Work collaboratively with Home Managers, Nurses and care teams.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a Kitchen Lead, Head Chef, Kitchen Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and food safety standards.
- Experience leading and developing a team.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A positive, proactive approach and a passion for making a difference.
