The Tritech & Innovation Research Assistant plays a key role in supporting research, innovation and evaluation projects across the Health Board.
The role involves coordinating project activities, managing data and documentation, supporting clinical trials and service evaluations, organising meetings and events, and working closely with clinical teams, academics, digital specialists and industry partners to ensure successful project delivery.
This candidate should bring the skills and commitment needed to help deliver high-quality research and innovation projects that improve patient care and healthcare services. Your ability to build positive relationships, manage complex information, and contribute to innovative healthcare initiatives will make you a valuable asset to the Tritech Institute and Innovation Team.

You will support collaborative project delivery and act as a key point of contact for enquiries and communicate professionally with patients, carers and colleagues, while handling sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
Key responsibilities include coordinating meetings, workshops and project activities; maintaining study documentation and filing systems; arranging clinic visits and monitoring activities; and supporting patient identification and recruitment under supervision. You will also assist with preparing reports, presentations and project updates using digital systems and Microsoft Office applications. This requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and confidence using Microsoft Office, databases and reporting tools.
You will work independently while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team, manage competing priorities and support continuous service improvement.
