About us

Dating from 1765, the Cawdor hotel has been welcoming visitors through its doors for many years. The food at the Cawdor is, whenever possible, Welsh and in season and will always be prepared fresh daily in our kitchen. Food is served every day in the dining room, bar, and outside in our courtyard.

We are looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing meals according to recipes, ensuring that all dishes are cooked to perfection, and helping to maintain a clean and organized kitchen. The ideal candidate should have excellent knife skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities:

Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
Maintain a clean, sanitary work area.
Prepare food items in a timely manner.
Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces.
Ensure proper food storage procedures are followed.
Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on a schedule.
Adhere to safety and sanitation regulations.

Pay: £26,520.00-£34,450.00 per year
