Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solicitor Director to lead our legal team with energy, expertise, and a proactive approach. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the firm’s legal operations, provide strategic legal counsel, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Your leadership will drive excellence in client service, foster a collaborative team environment, and uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. Duties

Lead and manage the legal department, setting strategic priorities and ensuring high-quality service delivery
Provide expert legal advice on complex matters including corporate governance, contracts, compliance, and risk management
Oversee the development and implementation of legal policies, procedures, and best practices
Collaborate with senior management to shape organizational strategies and support business objectives
Supervise and mentor junior solicitors and legal staff to foster professional development
Ensure all legal documentation is accurate, thorough, and compliant with applicable laws
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, case law, and industry standards to advise effectively
Represent the organization in negotiations, mediations, or court proceedings when necessary
