Job description

Clerical Assistant – Electoral Services

You will play a vital role assisting the Electoral Services team in updating the electoral register and absent voter records. Working to a high standard, you will also support the team in administering the local elections in May 2027. Tasks include ballot box preparation, answering telephone calls and using the Electoral Management Software to process registration and absent vote applications and to assist electors with queries. Part of your duties will also be to assist in the maintenance of electoral documentation and equipment at our storage unit.

We are looking for a candidate who has experience in working within an office environment using Microsoft Office and working in a customer-facing role.

Please note that you will be required to work during the evening and on weekends during busy periods.
