Full job description

We are looking for Sales and Service Engineers to join our growing team. Are you an outgoing technician with a background in hose service/repair, or hydraulics looking for a new opportunity in the area, where no two days will ever be the same?

Position available to cover the Bristol & Surrounding area.

Interpump Fluid Solutions is the UK's One Source manufacturer of certified and compatible fluid power products and services, formally known as I.M.M. Hydraulics and Bristol Hose. We are a market leader, providing certified and compatible hydraulic hose, fittings, machines and accessories to a wide range of industries. Boasting world class manufacturing sites, global distribution and 24/7 365 breakdown support, you will become part of the expanding team of hose technicians.

We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude who thrives on a fast-paced environment, whilst maintaining high quality standards. You will be given your own personal fully stocked Mobile Workshop, with Hydraulic products, fittings, machinery and other material needed. This role will include working weekends and nights when being on-call (approx. 1 week in 2), and doing overtime on a rota basis within the team. You will be based at our Avonmouth Service centre, whilst working from your own van within the Bristol & Surrounding area.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

Attending emergency breakdowns for an array of industrial machinery and a wide customer base. Working on-site, assessing the situation, identifying the fault and replacing the failed hose assembly.
Actively promoting our products and services to existing and prospective customers throughout your area.
Maintaining stock levels within your vehicle.
Accurately completing paperwork.
Supporting the on-site service centre.

As the Sales and Service Engineer you should have the following skills, qualifications and competencies:

Mechanical background, with Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience preferred.
Full UK driving license.
Good communication and customer service.
Knowledge of H&S and PPE.
Ability to prioritise and work at a fast pace.
Team player.
Positive attitude, with good problem solving.
