Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent organisational skills, and a proven track record in hospitality management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations, support staff, and contribute to the overall success of our organisation. The Assistant Manager will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of customer service, driving sales, and ensuring efficient store management. This position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to develop their management expertise within a vibrant hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

Support the Manager in overseeing daily store operations and ensuring smooth workflow
Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Manage merchandising activities to optimise product displays and maximise sales opportunities
Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism and tact
Monitor stock levels, organise inventory checks, and coordinate replenishment processes
Implement promotional campaigns and sales initiatives effectively
Implement Social Media campaigns and posts
Maintain accurate administrative records including sales reports, staff schedules, and stock documentation
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies at all times

Skills

Proven management experience within hospitality, with supervising or team management responsibilities
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff members
Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
Organised with exceptional time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
Sound organisational skills with experience in merchandising and administrative tasks
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously under pressure
Leadership qualities combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
