Deliveries Co-ordinator

Foodbank Manager / Operations Manager
BASED AT
Various Sites across Redcar and Cleveland
OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE
To ensure the smooth collection and delivery service of all food and other items donated to Footprints projects.
To liaise with the warehouse team around stock, orders, maintenance and health and safety
To maintain the Footprints van in good order.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Collect donated food each morning from local stores and deliver to Foodbank Centre or Next Step Shop as required.
2. Collect donated food from a range of local stores, libraries etc and deliver to Warehouse and/or Next Step Shop.
3. Be available to collect donated food at ad hoc special collections.
4. Deliver stock orders to Foodbank Centres and Next Step Shops.
5. Co-ordinate orders and weekly routine in consultation with warehouse team, Foodbank Manager and other project managers as appropriate.
6. Liaise with the warehouse team around health and safety issues.
7. Knowledge of using IT systems, emails and smartphone apps
8. Maintain the van to good standard (e.g. oil and water) and arrange for MOT/servicing etc as required.
Requirements
1. Maintain confidentiality at all times.
2. Be familiar with and adhere to Policies and Procedures, and ensure that high standards of quality and good practice are maintained, developed and monitored.
3. Have a flexible approach.
4. A degree of fitness enabling heavy lifting.
