AMC Hire are looking for a driven and proactive individual to join our team as a hire controller/administrator.

AMC Hire is a multi-disciplined crane hire company offering an efficient, safe and comprehensive service for all lifting solutions. Founded in 2009, the company has been growing strength by strength, year by year with continued investment into the hire fleet and fleet vehicles.

About the role:

- Monday to Friday

- 8am to 5pm (rare but occasionally additional hours may be asked of which would be paid at 1.5x your hourly rate)

- Weekend work not required

You will be dealing directly with the hire desk manager and director, with your main duties being:

- Produce and process orders with consistent accuracy and within required timescales using internal systems

- Process on hires, off hires and exchanges through internal systems

- Raising purchase orders for suppliers

- Notifying customers or damages

- Dealing with customer queries (via both telephone and email)

- Liaising with workshop manger/team to ensure equipment is tested for customer’s orders.

- Liaising with our other depot (located in Liverpool) to ensure current stock levels meet customer requirements.

- Maintenance and development of relationships with new and existing customers

Requirements:

- A high level of customer service skills

- Excellent knowledge of word, excel and outlook

- Experience within the tool/plant/crane/access industry

- Driving license

£26,500 for unexperienced in the hire industry

£28,000 for experienced in the hire industry
