Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Informatics and Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing pharmacy data, implementing informatics solutions, and supporting clinical and operational decision-making processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your IT, analysis, and organisational skills within a dynamic healthcare environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to contribute to improving pharmacy services through innovative data management and analysis.

Responsibilities

Analyse pharmacy data sets using SQL, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant tools to identify trends and support decision-making.
Develop, maintain, and optimise pharmacy information systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Collaborate with clinical teams to implement informatics solutions that improve medication safety and patient care.
Prepare detailed reports and visualisations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Support the integration of new IT systems within the pharmacy department, ensuring seamless implementation.
Provide training and support to staff on the utilisation of pharmacy software and data tools.
Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, updates, and procedures.
Lead or participate in projects aimed at enhancing pharmacy informatics capabilities.

Qualifications

Proven experience with computer skills, including proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets accurately.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, capable of conveying technical information clearly.
Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Knowledge of IT systems relevant to healthcare or pharmacy environments is desirable.
Organised approach with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
