Cleaning Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and professional Cleaning Supervisor to support the delivery of high standards of cleaning services at our corporate client site in London. This is a hands-on role, responsible for supervising evening cleaning operations, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring all activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures.

You will play a key role in coordinating the cleaning team, supporting communication between shifts, and ensuring a consistent and compliant service is delivered.

What you’ll do

Supervise and support the cleaning team to ensure high standards are consistently achieved
Lead by example through hands-on cleaning duties across office spaces, welfare areas, and shared facilities
Allocate daily tasks and ensure adequate cover across all areas
Carry out regular inspections and audits to monitor cleaning quality
Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures, including risk assessments and safe systems of work
Maintain accurate cleaning records, logs, and documentation in line with company requirements
Report maintenance, safety, or building issues promptly
Support training and provide guidance to team members where required
Maintain clear communication with site management and colleagues to ensure continuity of service

What you’ll bring

Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a corporate or commercial environment
Experience in a supervisory or team leader role is desirable
Good understanding of cleaning standards, health & safety, and safe working practices
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively
Confident communication skills and a proactive approach
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
