Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Non‑Electrical Compliance Manager to lead and oversee our non‑electrical compliance operations. This role is essential in ensuring that all regulatory standards, industry requirements, and internal policies are consistently met across our organisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in quality assurance, operational coordination, and continuous improvement, supporting our commitment to safety, efficiency, and professional excellence.
This position reports directly to the CEO and manages a team of assessors and subcontractors delivering EPCs, Fire Risk Assessments, Health & Safety checks, water hygiene inspections, and other compliance services.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programmes related to non‑electrical systems and property compliance services.
- Oversee Domestic & Non‑Domestic EPC assessments, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate Fire Risk Assessments, Health & Safety checks, water hygiene inspections, and asbestos‑related compliance (subcontracted).
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify adherence to relevant regulations and internal quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance activities, audit reports, and corrective measures.
- Provide training and guidance to staff and assessors on compliance requirements and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, building safety standards, and technological advancements affecting non‑electrical compliance.
- Lead investigations into compliance issues or incidents, ensuring thorough analysis and resolution.
- Support quality assurance initiatives by establishing protocols that uphold organisational standards.
- Assist in developing new compliance packages for landlords and commercial clients.
- Ensure timely delivery of all reports, certificates, and documentation to clients.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in compliance management, property compliance, building safety, or a related sector.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience conducting audits, inspections, or compliance assessments.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail for reviewing technical reports.
- Effective communication skills, capable of training staff and presenting findings clearly.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and compliance‑related software.
Required Qualifications
- MSc in Management or equivalent.
- Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA).
- Level 4 Non‑Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA).
- Legionella Risk Assessor qualification.

Pay: From £41,000.00 per year
